Make me read it Readathon

 

HOLD THE DOOR! I am going to be doing another readathon! From not doing one before to doing 2 in the space of 2 months is crazyness. However this one piqued my interests as you….yes you, get to vote what I read. This is the perfect time for me to read one of my books on my shelves rather than buying another book…I’m sure you all know what that’s like.

So this readathon is hosted by Valerie@The innocent smiley  and Ely@tea and titles.

This readathon is a week long and runs from the 9th July to the 16th July and starts at 12 am your timezone.

The Rules:

Look at the books you own, either physical, e-book or ones you’ve borrowed from the library and pick out a few you really want to read, or feel like you should read. It’s up to you how many you pick, personally I’d pick a few more than you expect to be able to read in a week. Example: if you think you’ll only read two, pick out five books or if you think you can read seven, pick out ten.

Make a list of these books on your blog, or make a video, or a Goodreads shelf or post a picture on Instagram—whatever is easiest for you. Then get friends, other bloggers/booktubers etc. to vote on which books you HAVE to read.

When the readathon comes along, you read the books in the order of most votes. For example, if one book gets 10 votes—you read that first, then the one that got 7 and so on. If there’s a tie, then it’s your preference. The goal is to read as many as possible.

There is also a tag that you can use if you are on Twitter/Instagram which is #MakeMeRead!

I am a slow reader, so I will only be putting 5 books on my poll, but these are all the books that I need to read and I have been putting it off for too darn long.I am hoping to read 2 books depending on the sizes and If I like them, because that always helps.

As you will notice they are all books in a series and that’s because I am more of a standalone book sorta gal but I feel I am missing out on some great books.
